At the Grand Trunk we hold focused tastings in the store where we love to educate you on wine and food from various regions. We also hold off-site tastings. Please inquire if your group, business, or party would like to learn a little more about the world of wine and cheese.

Tuesday November 22 at 7pm. Cost is $25 per person

Fall wines and pairings. The Alpines are coming,(mountain cheeses and wines) and we will be tasting many new arrivals of Alpine foods and wines to pair ranging from white and red. Many of these wines are ideal for your holiday gathering.

Thursday November 10 at 7pm. Cost is $25 per person

 Thanksgiving is coming isn’t it? Well tonight we will be tasting several “crowd pleasing” wines for the big meal along with unforgettable hors d’oeuvres that you can impress your guests with. From Cru Beaujolais to Bierzo, Spain and from the Douro in Portugal, you will get a taste of some new small production wines that will work beautifully with your holiday meal.

Thursday October 27 at 7pm. Cost is $25 per person.

A selection of “Old World” wine and “New world” wine comparisons. You will taste and compare the same red grape varietals grown in two different parts of the world. Six wines will be tasted. Each wine will be paired with a different cheese or accompaniment.  (If you only like white tonight is not your night…)
